1. Overview

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through the Koraliki website operated by J & E May Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

This Policy operates in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the ACL.


2. Change of Mind

Due to the limited-release and handmade nature of our bracelets:

• We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
• We do not offer refunds for incorrect size selection.
• We do not offer refunds for items purchased during limited Sunday releases unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Please choose carefully before completing your purchase.


3. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.

You are entitled to:

• A refund or replacement for a major failure; and
• Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage; and
• Have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A “major failure” includes circumstances where:

• The product is significantly different from the description;
• The product is unsafe;
• The product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot be remedied easily; or
• The product has a defect that would have prevented purchase if known.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you believe your item is faulty or damaged:

• Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
• Provide your order number and clear photographs of the issue.

We will assess the claim in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

If the item is determined to have a major failure, you may choose between:

• A refund; or
• A replacement (if available).

If the failure is not major, we may choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable time.


5. Natural Variations

Koraliki bracelets are handmade and may include natural materials such as plastic, stone, shell, pearl, glass or metal components.

Variations in:

• Colour
• Tone
• Texture
• Shape
• Surface markings

are natural characteristics of materials and do not constitute faults.

These variations are not grounds for refund.


6. Wear and Care

Damage resulting from:

• Misuse
• Excessive force
• Exposure to water, chemicals or perfumes
• Improper storage
• Normal wear and tear

is not considered a manufacturing fault.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement in these circumstances.


7. Return Process

If a return is approved:

• You may be required to return the item to us.
• Return shipping costs may be your responsibility unless the item is confirmed to have a major failure.

We recommend using tracked postage, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.


8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.

Refunds may take several business days to appear depending on your payment provider.
